This is an all original Epiphone Peerless in wonderful playing condition ready for many years of sessions to come.
Neck - The neck is constructed of walnut with a 3 piece center stripe. The celluloid peghead veneer has the colorful Peerless design. The fingerboard is made of rosewood with diamonds and dot inlays.
Rim - The rim is made of maple with walnut veneer and has the heavy Peerless style archtop tone ring. The resonator is also made of maple with a walnut veneer.
Setup - This is setup for Irish trad playing in GDAE tuning.
Case - Vintage, well-fitting, possibly original
Notes - There is minor lifting of the peghead veneer which is very common. There are some scratches and crazing in the finish. The nickel plating is near perfect and exceptional for the age of the banjo. Some brass showing on the edge of the armrest.
