This is a very nice Vega Professional from 1926. These are great banjos for all types of music.
Neck - maple neck with ebony center stripe, Vega mother of pearl peghead inlay and fingerboard inlays, ebony fingerboard
Rim - 10-15/16" maple rim with Tu-Ba-Phone tonering, 28 hooks and flanges, maple "pie" resonator
Setup - Left-handed in GDAE tuning, original right handed nut included.
Case - Vintage non-original case
Notes - Includes original "Planet" tuners, possibly non-original tailpiece, nickel plating is excellent. The fingerboard is in excellent condition, the frets were leveled and dressed, minor finish wear on the back of the neck, scratches present on the resonator, finish wear on bottom side of resonator.
