This is Vega Vegaphone Professional built in Boston, MA in the 1920's.
Neck - Maple neck with ebony center stripe, standard fingerboard inlays for the model and Vega inlay on the peghead.
Rim - The rim is maple with the powerful Tubaphone tonering and 28 flanges. The resonator has the "pie plate" back and tortiose celluloid on the side.
Setup - This is setup for Irish trad in GDAE tuning.
Case - It comes with a non-original case.
Notes - There are newer frets installed on this banjo, they were glued in and some glue is noticeable on the fingerboard. There has been an additional finish added to the neck and some "bubbling" has occurred. It has a new bottom frosted head, new bridge, and new tailpiece.
