Weymann Style A Orchestra tenor banjo.  Serial number 4680, 11” Megaphonic rim of mahogany, with a 19 fret, 23” scale length mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard.  This is an all original “like-new” and rare to find complete with original Weymann 4:1 geared tuners, original armrest, and original tailpiece with cover with no wear.  The pop off resonator is also mahogany with rosewood binding and beautiful marquetry on the side. The neck is straight, the frets were just leveled, crowned, and polished, and the action is low.  The action can easily be adjusted with the Weymann neck brace and adjuster. These are fantastic banjos for Irish trad and this is setup with Phosphor Bronze strings from Clareen Banjos in Ireland, a Remo Renaissance head, and standard Grover maple/ebony bridge.  It also comes with an original Waverly tuning wrench. Also included but not pictured is the original skin head in excellent condition. The case is in great shape, but is missing the handle. There are some small scratches on the back of the resonator and neck, and wear marks from the resonator on the rim of the banjo.  All of my banjos ship properly packed and insured! Please message me with any questions.
