According to Tanya Ogsbury of OME banjos this is a very early OME made in 1972 or 1973. The model is a Monarch and according to their records this has a Triple X resonator. The current configuration included a walnut rim with integrated archtop profile installed by Trad Banjo. The work done to install the new rim is reversible.
Neck - The neck is mahogany with a 3 piece WBW centerstripe, rosewood peghead veneer and heel cap. The fingerboard is ebony with abalone and mother of pearl inlays.
Rim - Walnut with integrated archtop tonering. It also includes the original OME rim and flat head tonering.
Setup - This is setup for Irish trad in GDAE tuning.
Case - Includes a hard case with key
Notes - OME banjos are no longer made by OME in Colorado. This is an extremely well made instrument that is very light at only 7 pounds, 5 ounces.
On Consignment - this banjo is in our inventory and will get the same service as all banjos that Trad Banjo sells.
