This is a Framus "wedding cake" built in Germany in 1969.
Neck - the neck is made of maple with a radiused rosewood fingerboard
Rim - The rim is a thin multi-layered maple rim with heavy archtop tone ring. The back of the resonator is mahogany. It is a top tension with the embossed flange and armrest that give it's nickname of "wedding cake".
Setup - This is setup for Irish trad in GDAE tuning
Case - this does not include a case
Notes - These are great banjos for Iris trad playing delivering incredible tone and volume. This is in good condition and is a "players" instrument. The frets were leveled, crowned, and polished. A new bridge was installed. The action is easily adjustable by the device and the end of the dowel stick.
