This is a Banner Blue made by William Lange. Dan Shingler installed a rolled brass tone ring to create an archtop head and improve the overall tone and volume of the banjo.
Neck - made of maple with a dyed "pearwood" center lamination. The peghead and fingerboard also look to be "pearwood". Mother of pearl inlays on the 17 fret fingerboard and peghead. The frets appear to be original and are in excellent shape.
Rim - is made a maple laminations topped with a brass tone ring.
Setup - a new Remo Renassiance head, new maple/ebony 3 leg bridge, and new nickle strings are installed.
Case - includes a vintage case, possible original
Notes - this does show some buckle rash and finish wear.
