This is a nice gold plated Leedy Solo Tone built in Indiana. Leedy was a drum manufacturer that build banjos from 1924 to 1927.

Neck - is a 3 piece neck made from walnut with a center lamination. The fingerboard is ebony with 8 mother of pearl inlays. The peghead has a dyed veneer with mother of pearl inlays. The heel has an internal action adjuster. The neck also has the original gold Grover two tab tuners.

Rim - is engraved and gold plated brass over a walnut rum and has 28 top tension hooks. The resonator has a gold plated flange, wooden interior, and colorful celluloid back. The resonator attaches with 3 thumb screws to the side of the rim.

Setup - This is on consignment and being sold as-is. It is currently setup in GDAE tuning by the owner. Changes to the setup can be requested at the buyer's expense.

Case - original case included that shows wear

Notes - There is minor fret wear on frets 2 & 3. The gold plating is worn through on the armrest and there is some pitting near the heel on the flange.
