This is a very nice maple Majestic tenor banjo. Majestic banjos all seem to be slightly different. This one is made from maple and has a beautiful birds-eye maple resonator. These "plainer" Majestic banjos are highly underrated. It has a beautiful tone and is easy to play.
Neck - 2 piece maple with ebony center stripe, dyed wood peghead veneer with mother or pearl inlay, solid mystery wood fingerboard with 7 mother of pear inlays.
Rim - maple rim with "flat" majestic skirt and flange, aluminum flat bar tone ring, 20 hooks, birds-eye maple resonator
Setup - GDAE for Irish trad
Case - original case used for shipping purposes, heavily damaged
Notes - new head, new bridge, new planetary tuners, new strings, frets were leveled and dressed, a few stains on the neck, rust and corrosion present on the steel hooks, some tarnish to the nickel plating. Overall, a wonderful sounding and playing Majestic banjo.
