Restored Orpheum made my William Lange and sold through Bruno & Sons.  The neck is birdseye maple and rim of maple, both stained brown.  The head size is 12 3/16, nut width is 1.17" and the scale length is 20 7/8" and the banjo weight 7.25lbs.  The nickel is in good condition with some plating missing on some hooks and brass showing on some of the nuts.  There is an old repair to the end of the dowel stick which is stable.  It is setup GDAE with nickel strings and 9/16" bridge.  The action is low and plays easily without any buzzing.  Great tone and volume from this across the strings.

This banjo has had the following work done to it.  The rim cap was replaced with a new solid maple piece stained black.  The rim and neck were stripped and restained to match the original.  There is a new french polish shellac finish applied.  The fingerboard was leveled and new frets installed with thinner wire to maintain the original look but still provide an easy playing fingerboard.  This includes the following new items: Remo Renaissance head, Kershner style tailpiece, bridge, strings, planetary tuners.

Includes the original case in rough condition but will provide protection for safe shipping.
