This is a Paramount Style C built by William Lange in NYC in the 1920's.
Neck - is made from San Domingo mahogany with a 5-piece multi-colored lamination. The fingerboard is rosewood with the Style C mother of peal inlays. The peghead veneer is dyed "pearwood" elaboratley inlayed with engraved mother of pearl. The back of the peghead and heel are both carved.
Rim - is maple withe a mahogany veneer with a maple rim cap and 2 types of purfling. The resonator also has a mahogany veneer and multiple purflings. The tone ring and flange are standard Paramount construction.
Setup - This is on consignment and being sold as-is. It is currently setup in GDAE tuning by the owner. Changes to the setup can be requested at the buyer's expense.
Case - includes vintage Paramount case
Notes - minimal to zero fret wear, minor wear to the finish on the back of the neck, some dings and scratches present on the resonator, the fingerboard engravings are missing most of the filling. The bridge in an original Paramount bridge.
